Inspiration for my work is drawn  from ancient civilizations. The classic forms aare bent, shaped and amended to form a new object far from the original utilitarian source. All designed to allow the viewer to create their own narrative. 

Having spent over 30 years in corporate America, I have embarked on art as a second career. Now, having had my work shown in numerous galleries I am contiuing to produce work that speaks to me and hopefully to the viewer.

I have been working in turned wood for over 20 years. Wood is endlessly fascinating . The grain, the color,the ability to create an endless variety of forms all add to the potential for art.
